Saint-Martin-de-Londres - 15 minutes from the venue
One of the most picturesque villages beneath Pic Saint-Loup. Built around a remarkably well-preserved medieval centre, Saint-Martin-de-Londres is a lovely place for a leisurely stroll, a coffee on the square, and a glimpse of rural Languedoc life framed by dramatic limestone peaks.
Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert - 40 minutes from the venue
One of France’s most beautiful villages, nestled in a dramatic limestone valley. Wander its medieval lanes, visit the UNESCO-listed abbey, and follow the river through the spectacular Gorges de l’Hérault.
Les Matelles - 20 minutes from the venue
A beautifully preserved medieval village of narrow stone lanes and vaulted passageways. Tucked into the foothills of Pic Saint-Loup, Les Matelles feels almost unchanged by time and makes for a peaceful stop before exploring the surrounding countryside.
Viols-le-Fort - 25 minutes from the venue
A fortified hilltop village surrounded by wild garrigue landscapes. Quiet and authentic, it is an excellent base for walks among ancient stone walls, with several prehistoric sites and sweeping views of the rugged countryside nearby.

A lively university city with a beautiful medieval old town, sun-drenched squares, and a proud Mediterranean food scene. The Musée Fabre holds one of France’s finest art collections, and the beaches at Palavas are just a short drive away.
Sète - 1 hour from the venue
Known as the “Venice of the Languedoc,” Sète is a working port town threaded with canals and full of character. Climb Mont Saint-Clair for panoramic views over the sea and the lagoon, and eat oysters at a harbourside table.
Aigues-Mortes - 1 hour from the venue
A perfectly preserved medieval walled town rising out of the Camargue marshes. Walk the full circuit of the 13th-century ramparts, wander the grid-pattern streets inside, and look out for flamingos in the salt ponds nearby.
Arles - 1h15 from the venue
Roman ruins, Van Gogh, and the gateway to the Camargue. The amphitheatre is still in use today, and you can follow a trail through the city tracing the landscapes Van Gogh famously painted here.
Nîmes - 45 minutes from the venue
Home to some of the best-preserved Roman monuments in the world, including a stunning 1st-century amphitheatre and the Maison Carrée temple. A short drive away, the Pont du Gard aqueduct is not to be missed.
Avignon - 1h15 from the venue
The city of popes, perched above the Rhône. The medieval Palais des Papes is extraordinary, and the city comes alive in July with one of Europe’s greatest theatre and arts festivals.
Béziers - 1 hour from the venue
One of the oldest cities in France, dramatically set on a hill above the River Orb. Stroll the shaded Allées Paul Riquet, visit the covered market, and explore the UNESCO-listed Canal du Midi on foot, by bike, or by boat.
Carcassonne - 2 hours from the venue
A fairytale medieval citadel, best experienced in the early morning before the crowds arrive or at dusk when the walls are lit up. Stay a night if you can — it’s magical after dark.
Marseille - 1h30 from the venue
France’s oldest and most charismatic city — loud, vibrant, and unlike anywhere else. Don’t miss the Vieux-Port, the views from Notre-Dame de la Garde, and the dramatic Calanques limestone fjords just outside the city.
Perpignan - 2 hours from the venue
A city with a strong Catalan soul, right on the Spanish border. The Palace of the Kings of Majorca dominates the skyline, and the old town has a warmth and energy that feels distinctly different from the rest of France.

Viols-le-Fort - Mekana 25 dakika

Saint-Martin-de-Londres - à 15 minutes du lieu de réception
L’un des villages les plus pittoresques au pied du Pic Saint-Loup. Bâti autour d’un centre médiéval remarquablement préservé, Saint-Martin-de-Londres est un lieu charmant pour une promenade tranquille, un café sur la place, et un aperçu de la vie rurale languedocienne encadrée par des pics calcaires spectaculaires.
Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert - à 40 minutes du lieu de réception
L’un des plus beaux villages de France, niché dans une vallée calcaire spectaculaire. Flânez dans ses ruelles médiévales, visitez l’abbaye classée à l’UNESCO, et suivez la rivière à travers les magnifiques Gorges de l’Hérault.

Un village fortifié perché, entouré de paysages sauvages de garrigue. Calme et authentique, c’est un excellent point de départ pour des promenades parmi d’anciens murs de pierre, avec plusieurs sites préhistoriques et de vastes panoramas sur la campagne escarpée à proximité.
